The Sophisticated Audiophile is the brainchild of Atane Ofiaja aka me. Why “The Sophisticated Audiophile” as a moniker you may ask? It’s mostly tongue in cheek, since I’m anything but sophisticated. I am however an audiophile, a serious one at that. My goal is to provide a haven, and one stop junction for the intelligent audiophile. One that values fidelity and excellent sound reproduction in music. What you will find here are honest reviews, spotlights and happenings on music, speakers, sources, amplifiers, headphones and other assorted audio gear. The emphasis will be on music, because ultimately, that should be the priority of any audiophile. The latest in home theater will be discussed on occasion as well. However, the emphasis will be, and will always be two-channel audio.
