My recent post on Offshoring Hifi has generated an incredible amount of traffic. The link has been posted on several forums. I have also received a lot of private messages and emails from people who agree with me. So far, I have received a grand total of zero responses in opposition. Apparently, I said something that many people agree with, but generally don’t discuss for one reason or another. A stance I completely understand, because I know these type of conversations attract people with agendas. It’s a touchy subject that needs to be broached carefully. Nevertheless, it feels good to know that I’m not alone.
The video above from Wilson Audio is titled Provenance, and it addresses the origin, heart, and soul that many products embody. It’s succinct and to the point. They really hit the nail on the head, and I’m glad that there are still speaker manufacturers like Wilson Audio that “get it”.
