Last week, I got to see Fishbone for the second time in a month. I can’t put into words how I feel about Fishbone because there isn’t a band that does what they do. The atmosphere for Fishbone shows is always raucous. Things happen. Projectiles fly into the crowd, and chances are, it’s usually a member of the band doing the flying. This is why we love Fishbone. It’s pure, unrelenting energy.
My good friend Henry wrote far more eloquently than what I could attempt to write on the show last week at Brooklyn Bowl. Read what he had to say about it here.
I shot some pics and video of the show.

Towards the end of the video, I got hit by a dude crowd surfing. He landed right on top of me from behind. I knew something was up when the chick next to me screamed. You can hear her around 3:02. That’s why the camera dropped. This is to be expected at Fishbone concerts!
Some nice stage diving and crowd surfing towards the end.
