Cilla K is a fresh face on the soul scene, and everything I’ve heard from her has been splendid. Her sound fuses soul, r&b, hiphop and jazz, to create a cornucopia of aural delight. Her debut album, ‘Fine Line‘ is available now on indie label, Flow NY. The first video from the album, ‘Easy to Love‘, was released this past summer.

Brooklyn legend, Charles Bradley will be releasing his long overdue album, “No Time For Dreaming” on Daptone/Dunham Records. The official release date is January 25th, 2011. The first single and video from the album is “The World (Is Going Up In Flames)”. It features the Menahan Street Band. This is pure soul music at its finest. Dig it.
